Our handheld data logger is a device that can be used both as a handheld device and for stationary use. It has an integrated data logger function and can be combined with load cells. The handheld data logger for load cells offers a user-friendly and highly accurate solution for recording and monitoring weight data. Whether in industry, in the laboratory or in the field - this data logger is your reliable companion. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is ideal for use in various environments. The lightweight yet robust data logger weighs only approx. 290 g and can therefore be easily carried in your pocket or on your belt.
How the data logger works
EPE data logger for automatic recording and storage of measurement data over a certain period of time. The functionality of the data logger, especially in connection with load cells, is explained in detail here.
- sensor connection- Load cells are connected to the data logger. These sensors measure physical changes such as weight and output an electrical signal that is proportional to the measured load.
- signal conversion- The weak electrical signal from the load cell is amplified and filtered to minimize interference and improve signal quality. The amplified analog signal is converted to a digital signal so that it can be processed and stored by the data logger.
- data collection- The data logger records the digital signals at set intervals. The recorded data is immediately saved in the internal memory or on an SD card.
- real-time curve display- The current measured values are shown in real time on a display as curves or numerical values to provide immediate feedback. The visual representation of the data as a curve enables the analysis of trends and quick reactions to deviations.
- data transfer- The stored data can be transferred to another device via various interfaces such as USB, RS-232 / RS485 or wirelessly (WLAN, Bluetooth). Special software helps with the analysis, display and storage of the data on external devices.
- energy supply- Data loggers are battery-operated to enable mobile use. Energy-saving technologies extend battery life. The data logger has an integrated system for continuous monitoring of the battery charge level.
- Calibration and Configuration- Regular calibration ensures that measurements remain accurate. The data logger can be configured to use specific measurement intervals, alarm values and other parameters.
