Compression load cells L-CBL are designed in a column shape, with the force being introduced centrally. Our compression load cells are made of stainless steel and have protection class IP68 . Inside the compression load cells there is a metal spring body that deforms under pressure and converts the deformation into electrical impulses via strain gauges.

Areas of application for compression load cells are scales in the high load range , such as silo scales, heavy-duty scales, machine scales, container scales, coil scales, force measurement during pressing, measurement of compression force or cargo scales.

Features of L-CBL compression load cells

Applications of compression load cells L-CBL

Compression load cells are used in various applications, especially in belt scales, silo scales, small container and tank scales, dosing and filling machines. They work on the principle that the load cell is compressed by the load acting on it and the force measurement is based on the pressure measurement. Compression load cells are often used in the process industry, in the food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in the chemical and petrochemical industries. They are also used in factory automation, in filling technology and in the packaging industry. Compression load cells can cover a wide range of nominal loads and are particularly well suited for very large nominal loads.
