Tension (compression) load cells L-SL made of stainless steel were specially designed for measuring tension and compression and have protection class IP67 (protection against ingress of dust, strong splashes of water or submersion). The spring body of the S-type C3 load cell is located in the middle beam of the S-shape. This is a piece of metal made of stainless steel that deforms under pressure and returns to its original shape when the pressure is removed. This deformation process is measured with a strain gauge (DMS) and converted into an electrical signal. The spring body is deformed by tension or compression at both ends. The S-type C3 stainless steel load cell can be calibrated in weight or force units.
