Although all T24 modules actually function as both a receiver and a transmitter, they are primarily used as either a transmitter or a receiver. Therefore, they are referred to as transmitters and receivers.
The T24 system is designed to allow senders to send messages at a user-defined rate. Receivers can then analyze, display, or perform other actions on that data depending on their role.
A PC and a base station are only required to configure the modules, although they can be part of a data acquisition system.
Once configured, the T24 modules operate autonomously and only minimal control of the transmitter or receiver modules is required, such as sleeping or waking.
Free Software for Wireless Radio Transmitters
There are two free software setups for Windows PC.
- T24 Toolkit is used to configure and calibrate the modular telemetry system
- T24 Log100 is the logging and visualization software for monitoring and data collection
The registration- and fee-free radio telemetry in the 2.4GHz band enables secure transmission and coexistence alongside other wireless systems such as WLAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and Zigbee®.

The acquisition modules integrate sensors with voltage and current outputs as well as strain gauges (especiallyload cellsandforce transducer), DC bridges and transducers wirelessly into an existing acquisition system. Each acquisition module has an input and sends the sensor data with its module ID to the various receiving modules such as the base station on the PC, handheld displays or wireless printers.
Ready-made Windows software is available for configuring the system and for collecting, analyzing and displaying data. Also available are free toolkits and SDKs as native Windows DLLs, ActiveX-Com objects or as .NET assemblies, for example for your own LabView projects.
