Load pins (also called load shackles) are the most elegant and efficient solution for measuring forces directly in the force flow, without altering the basic mechanical structure of a system. They replace conventional axles, joint pins, or bolted connections, transforming passive machine elements into intelligent, high-precision sensors.

Seamless Integration without Design Changes
The greatest advantage of our load pins lies in their design. The customer provides the dimensions of the existing pin (length, diameter, position of the retaining device), and we manufacture the load pin as an exact geometric replica. The function of the existing bearing or roller is fully preserved, while simultaneously obtaining accurate measurement results.
Signals, Interfaces, and Measurement Electronics
Depending on the system architecture and degree of automation, we offer the full spectrum of signal outputs. From passive sensors for external control cabinets to fully integrated digital solutions.
If space is severely limited in the joint, we use remote electronics. If the load pin offers enough space, we integrate the signal amplification directly into the housing of the load pin, which minimizes interference and simplifies wiring.
Functional Safety: Redundant Systems for Critical Applications
In industries such as crane and lifting technology or heavy machinery manufacturing, the demands on machine safety are enormous. Standards such as EN 61508, EN 62061, and ISO 13849 require fail-safe systems.
