Large displays up to 100 mm digit height

Digit height decides from how far away a value can still be read reliably – as a rule of thumb, two to three hundred times the digit height. So 57 mm is enough for around 15 metres, 100 mm for about 25 to 30 metres. That is the selection criterion, not the housing.

• 57 mm – five digits or two lines with 2 × 8 digits, red LED in a sealed plastic housing for wall mounting
• 90 mm – six digits, red LED in an aluminium profile, 110° viewing angle
• 95 mm – six digits in an anodised aluminium profile rated IP65, 120° viewing angle, for outdoor use
• 100 mm – five digits as a dot matrix: shows letters as readily as figures, which a seven-segment digit cannot

Connection and brightness

The displays receive the measured value serially via RS232, RS422 or RS485 in ASCII format – they therefore sit behind a weighing indicator or weighing transmitter and show its value where it is needed. Brightness is adjustable, and several models include a red/green traffic-light function for checkweighing.
