Screw-in temperature sensors

A screw-in sensor is fixed in the pipe, the vessel or the tank by its process connection and measures in the medium. It is the design for permanent installation: thread, protective tube, insertion length and process pressure are the figures that decide the selection.

The versions here carry amplifier, display and limit contacts in the terminal head – one device at the process instead of a sensor plus a transmitter in the control cabinet. Where no intervention in the process is possible, consider magnetic surface sensors, spring-loaded contact sensors or infrared sensors.
