Description
Strain gauge bridge amplifier SMM-DR-SIL1 with a built-in safety circuit for SIL1 and PL c — in a DR22.5 DIN rail housing for the control cabinet.
The safety function sits inside the device: a second amplifier, two comparators and a semiconductor relay watch the bridge independently of the measuring channel. No safety controller is required — that is the difference to the SIL3 range, which does require one.
A usable measuring amplifier at the same time: 0.1 % of range plus sensor error, 24 bit resolution, output either 4 … 20 mA or 0 … 10 V. The identical version in an IP65 field housing is the SMM-HD-SIL1.
