Description
Programmable safety controller SCU-DR for SIL3 (IEC 61508) and PL e (EN ISO 13849-1). This is the controller that the SIL3 amplifiers of this range require: it compares the two redundant channels of an SMM-DR or SMM-HD and takes the plant to its safe state on deviation.
A logic device, not a measuring device. Freely programmable with up to 800 STL instructions, function-plan oriented, with cross-fault detection and external contact monitoring (EMU).
The controller connects to the plant control system over fieldbus — besides interface modules, PROFISAFE and FSoE are available up to PL e and SIL3 respectively.
