Description
Strain gauge bridge amplifier SMM-HD for safety-related force and load measurement rated SIL3 and PL e category 3 — in an IP65 field housing for mounting outside the control cabinet.
Each bridge signal goes to two galvanically isolated current outputs, so that a safety controller can check the channels against each other. The device is a safety component, not a measuring instrument: the redundancy comes from the two outputs.
One or two amplifiers sit in the same housing — with two bridges, two measuring points are monitored safely and independently of each other. The matching safety controller is the SCU-DR from the same range.
