Description
The LSAD is an S-shaped load cell for tensile and compressive forces in the medium load range, type MTECT.
It is designed for testing machines and calibration tasks where the force needs to be verified according to a class of accuracy.
The nominal load program includes 5 kN, 10 kN, 25 kN, 50 kN, 75 kN, and 100 kN. The datasheet refers to ISO 376 with classes 00, 0.5, and 1. In class 00, the errors relative to the measured value are ≤ ±0.050% for repeatability, ≤ ±0.020% for interpolation, and ≤ ±0.070% for the reversibility error. Linearity and hysteresis are both ≤ ±0.03% FS.
The rated output is 2 mV/V with a tolerance of ≤ ±0.1% FS, the input resistance is 440 ± 20 Ω, the output resistance is 352 ± 2 Ω, and the insulation resistance is > 5 GΩ. The recommended excitation voltage is 10 V, the nominal range is 1 to 15 V at a maximum of 18 V. The housing is made of stainless steel and protected according to IP67, the weight ranges from 1.45 kg to 4.45 kg depending on the nominal load, and the cable is 5 m long. The nominal temperature range is from -10 °C to +40 °C, the operating temperature range from -10 °C to +70 °C. An operating load of 120%, a maximum permissible load of 150%, and a breaking load of > 300% of the nominal load are permissible. Classification according to ASTM E74 is available upon request.
