Description

The LSAC, type MTST, is an S-shaped load cell for tensile and compressive forces in the low load range.

It is designed for testing machines and calibration tasks where the force must be certified to an accuracy class.

The rated load program includes 0.5 kN, 1 kN, 2 kN, 3 kN, and 5 kN. The data sheet cites ISO 376 as the reference standard, with classes 00, 0.5, and 1. In class 00, the errors related to the measured value are ≤ ±0.050 % for repeatability, ≤ ±0.020 % for interpolation, and ≤ ±0.070 % for the reversibility error. Linearity is ≤ ±0.02 % FS, and hysteresis is ≤ ±0.025 % FS.

The rated output is 2 mV/V with a tolerance of ≤ ±0.1 % FS, the input resistance is 350 ± 2 Ω, the output resistance is 352 ± 2 Ω, and the insulation resistance is > 5 GΩ. The recommended excitation voltage is 10 V, the rated range is 1 to 15 V with a maximum of 18 V. The housing is made of stainless steel and protected to IP67, for 0.5 kN with silicone cover to IP65; the weight is approximately 0.60 kg, and the cable is 5 m long. The rated temperature range is from -10 °C to +40 °C, the operating temperature range is from -10 °C to +70 °C. Classification according to ASTM E74 is available upon request.
