Description

The LSAA is an S-shaped load cell for tensile and compressive loads, type ST-STA.

It is designed for container and silo scales as well as platform scales where the cell is suspended in the force flow via rod end bearings.

The rated load range extends from 10 kg to 10 t. The accuracy classes according to OIML R60 are C2 with 2,000, C3 with 3,000 and C4 with 4,000 verification intervals; the minimum verification interval is Emax/10000 or Emax/15000. The total error is ±0.023% in class C2, ±0.018% in class C3 and ±0.015% in class C4.

The rated output is 2 mV/V with a tolerance of ±0.1%, the input resistance 420 ± 20 Ω, the output resistance 350 ± 2 Ω and the insulation resistance > 5 GΩ. The recommended excitation voltage is 10 V, the nominal range 1 to 15 V at maximum 18 V. The housing is made of stainless steel and protected according to IP68, tested with 100 hours at 1 m water column; for rated loads 10 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg, IP65 applies with silicone cover. The nominal temperature range extends from -10 °C to +40 °C, the operating temperature range from -20 °C to +70 °C. The cable is 5 m long, 10 m on request. The tested version is only approved for tensile applications; the rod end bearings comply with ISO 12240-4, series E.
