Description
The LREA is a low-profile force transducer ring for compressive force measurements.
It is placed under the screw head or nut and is intended for monitoring preload and clamping forces, including in safety-critical applications.
The rated load range extends from 10 kN to 300 kN, optionally in kilograms from 100 kg to 3,000 kg, with screw sizes from M6 to M48. The total error is ≤ ±0.5 % FS, non-linearity and hysteresis are each ≤ ±0.35 % FS, repeatability is ≤ ±0.1 % FS, and creep is ≤ ±0.2 % FS over 30 minutes. The rated output is 1.0 mV/V ±2.0 %.
The material is stainless steel 17-4 PH / 1.4542, with protection class IP66 according to IEC 60529. The measuring bridge is a Wheatstone full bridge in 4-wire technology with 375 or 750 Ω input resistance and 370 or 700 Ω output resistance; the insulation resistance is ≥ 500 MΩ at 100 V, the excitation voltage is < 15 V. The cable is 4 m long. The compensated temperature range is from -10 °C to +40 °C, the operating temperature range from -20 °C to +60 °C. The cell complies with CE, RoHS and REACH; upon request, ISO-17025 calibration, an ATEX/IECEx version according to Ex ia IIC T6 and Ex tb IIIC Db T85 °C, and a version with SIL 2 according to IEC 61508-2 are available.
