Description
The LRAB is a force measuring ring with an amplified output signal, type 10CAMP.
It is designed for compressive force measurements where the transducer is placed between two surfaces and a standardized current or voltage signal is to be output.
The rated load range includes 10 kN, 25 kN, 50 kN, 100 kN, 250 kN, 500 kN, 750 kN, and 1,000 kN. The linearity is ±0.10 % FS for rated loads 10 kN to 100 kN and ±0.20 % FS for 250 kN to 1,000 kN. The characteristic value tolerance is < ±0.1 %, and the response frequency is 2 kHz.
The output signal is optionally 4–20 mA in 3-wire technology or ±5 V or ±10 V. The supply voltage is 12–28 V DC for ±5 V and 18–28 V DC for 4–20 mA and ±10 V, with a current consumption of 30 mA. The housing is made of stainless steel and is protected to IP67. The rated temperature range is from -10 °C to +40 °C, the operating temperature range is from -10 °C to +70 °C. An operating load of 120 %, a maximum permissible load of 150 %, and a breaking load of > 300 % of the rated load are permitted, the maximum dynamic load is 75 %. The shielded PVC cable is 5 m long and has a diameter of 5.3 mm. For the contact surfaces, the datasheet specifies a roughness of Ra ≤ 1.6.
