Description
The LLAG is a flange-type load cell, type 8CT, for force measurements with increased accuracy requirements.
It is designed for testing and calibration tasks as well as for force measurement on machines where small linearity and hysteresis errors are required.
The nominal load range extends from 500 kg or 5 kN to 100,000 kg or 1,000 kN. Non-linearity and hysteresis are both ≤ ±0.03% FS, and the total error is ≤ ±0.03% FS. The nominal characteristic value is 2.0 mV/V ±0.1%, and the zero point deviation is < ±1.0%. Classification according to ASTM E74 is available upon request.
The measuring bridge is a full Wheatstone bridge in 4-wire technology; the input resistance is 800 ± 20 Ω or 430 ± 20 Ω, depending on the nominal load, and the output resistance is 705 ± 2 Ω or 352 ± 2 Ω. The insulation resistance is ≥ 5 GΩ at 100 V, and the excitation voltage is a maximum of 18 V. The cable is 5 m long and has a diameter of 5.2 mm; an M12 output is available as an option. The housing is made of stainless steel, fully laser-welded, and protected to IP67; the compensated temperature range is from -10 °C to +40 °C. Permissible operating load is 120% FS, safety overload is 150% FS, and breaking load is > 300% FS; the maximum dynamic load is 75% FS.
