Description
The ETLF is a weighing transmitter for mounting on the back panel of the control cabinet on an Omega/DIN rail, type TLS.
It provides the weight value analogously to a PLC or digitally via RS485 to a PC, controller, and remote display.
The device has 4 load cell inputs and processes up to 8 load cells with 350 Ω via a junction box with a supply of 5 V DC/120 mA. The A/D converter operates with 24 bits and 16,000,000 digits and delivers 80 conversions per second. The measuring range is ±19.5 mV, the sensitivity of the load cells is ±3 mV/V, linearity is < 0.01% full scale, and thermal drift is < 0.0005% full scale/°C.
The opto-isolated analog output operates with 16 bits and delivers 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA (up to 300 Ω) or 0 to 10 V (min. 10 kΩ). In addition, there are 2 opto-relay outputs, 2 opto-isolated digital PNP inputs, and RS485 with ModBus RTU, ASCII, or continuous transmission. The 6-digit semi-alphanumeric red LED display has a digit height of 8 mm; the instrument is configured with the free PC software Instrument Manager. The housing measures 123 x 92 x 50 mm, the power supply is 12 to 24 V DC at 5 W, and the operating temperature range is from -20 °C to +60 °C. Upon request, an IP67 polycarbonate enclosure and an ATEX II 3GD version for Zone 2-22 are available; the device is a UL-recognized component for the USA and Canada.
