Description
The EMLC converts an analog load cell with a mV/V output into a digital one and can also be used on existing load cells to digitize an existing weighing system, type LCB.
It is designed for IoT applications and is either wired or directly attached to the load cell housing via a ¼-GAS connection.
The housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel is protected to IP67; 3 flying M12 connectors in IP67 are included in the scope of delivery. Up to 4 load cells with 350 Ω can be operated in parallel in 4- or 6-wire technology via a junction box. The A/D converter works with 24 bits and 16,000,000 digits at 4.8 kHz and delivers 300 conversions per second; the measuring range is ±26 mV, the usable sensitivity ±7 mV/V and the linearity < 0.01% full scale.
There are 3 relay outputs, 2 digital inputs and a Micro-USB port (Type B, USB 2.0 full-speed) for configuration via PC software. Options include RS485, RS485 with analog output, IO-Link, CANopen, CC-Link, CC-Link IE, Profibus DP, Modbus/TCP, Ethernet TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet IO, EtherCAT, POWERLINK and SERCOS III. The power supply is 12 to 24 V DC at 5 W, the operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +50 °C. A CE-M version according to 2014/31/EU, EN 45501:2015 and OIML R76:2006 is available, an alibi memory on request.
