Description
The EDOA is an alphanumeric LED display for load cells, designed for front panel mounting, type Murata Display.
It is intended for laboratory instrumentation, factory automation, and industrial process monitoring.
The display shows 5 characters plus sign with a digit height of 11.4 mm, corresponding to a measurement resolution of up to 4.5 digits; additionally, there are 3 indicator LEDs for alarm, max, and min. Operation is via four capacitive touch sensors on the front panel. The display updates 2.5 times per second, and the brightness is adjustable from 20% to 100% in steps of 10%.
Measurement inputs available are 0…10 V and 4…20 mA, supplemented by a load cell input for 1…2 mV/V; the common-mode input range is ±48 V. The typical accuracy is 0.05% of full scale and a maximum of 0.2% of full scale. Via the menu, ranges of 0…5 V, 0…20 mA, and a freely scalable display can be selected. An integrated isolated solid-state relay with programmable switching points, hysteresis, and relay test switches up to ±250 mA at ±40 V. The housing made of polycarbonate is mounted via a round hole drilling with nut and gasket or via screws. Power supply is from 9 to 32 V DC at 40 mA (12 V) or 25 mA (24 V). The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to +50 °C, and the weight is 65 g.
