In potentially explosive areas, not only must the sensor be approved, but also the evaluation behind it. Here you will find our measuring electronics for use in ATEX and Ex zones: weighing transmitters, weighing indicators, junction boxes and measuring amplifiers.
In practice, there are two ways. Either the device itself is located in the zone and is approved accordingly, or it is located outside and the zone is bridged via a separating barrier or a supply isolator – often the simpler and more cost-effective solution. Which path is suitable depends on the zone, device category and cable routing.
Tell us in which zone the measurement is taking place and which load cell is installed – we will put together the appropriate chain of transducer, electronics and isolation. Our load cells with ATEX and Ex approval can be found in their own category.
