Description
The QTKB is a turbine flowmeter for liquids of low to medium viscosity in nominal sizes from DN 10 to DN 300. It is particularly suited to applications where a two-wire current signal or a pulse is sufficient and the sensor has to take pressures up to 400 bar.
Turbine principle, nominal sizes DN 10 … DN 300 with flow rates of 0.2 … 1800 m³/h, accuracy ≤ 1.0 % F.S., repeatability < 0.5 % F.S., viscosity 1 … 100 cSt. Output 4 … 20 mA two-wire or pulse, no-load current < 15 mA. Supply 12 … 30 V DC. Electrical connection via DIN 43650-A connector, cable or M12 × 1.
Main body and runner of stainless steel 304, shaft of hard alloy steel. Process connection external thread, internal thread or clamp. Nominal pressure PN 6.3 · 16 · 25 · 40 MPa up to DN32, 2.5 MPa up to DN100, 1.6 MPa up to DN300; max. pressure loss 0.05 MPa at DN10 down to 0.025 MPa up to DN300; sensor pressure ratings 60 · 100 · 250 · 400 bar. Medium temperature -20 … +90 °C, ambient -20 … +70 °C. Protection IP65 with DIN 43650-A, IP67 with cable or M12 × 1. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: the maximum flow of 222 m³/h at DN100 breaks the series of its neighbours 100 and 250 and has to be settled with the enquiry.
