Description
The QTKA is an electronic turbine flowmeter for liquids in nominal sizes from DN 6 to DN 300. It is particularly suited to oil or water where switch points, an analog value, pulses and a digital interface are to come from one device.
Turbine principle, measuring range DN 6 … DN 300 with flow rates of 0.04 … 1800 m³/h by size, accuracy ≤ ±1.0 % of the measuring range, switching accuracy and analog output accuracy each ≤ ±0.5 % of the range. Outputs: switch, analog, pulse and frequency plus IO-Link and RS485, switching load < 200 mA. Supply 12 … 30 V DC, response time 10 ms … 5 s (factory default 1 s), connection M12 × 1, 5-pin. The liquid crystal display shows four values.
Shell of stainless steel 304, display head of stainless steel or engineering plastic, turbine rotor of 3cr13 or 2205. Nominal pressure PN 6.3 · 16 · 25 · 40 MPa up to DN32, 2.5 MPa up to DN100, 1.6 MPa up to DN300; max. pressure loss 0.05 MPa at DN10 down to 0.025 MPa up to DN300. Medium temperature -30 … +100 °C, +130 °C type H, +180 °C type H1; ambient -10 … +70 °C; viscosity > 5 × 10⁻⁶ m²/s; protection IP67. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: the maximum flow of 222 m³/h at DN100 breaks the series of its neighbours 100 and 250 and has to be settled with the enquiry.
