Description
The QSKR is a mechanical paddle flow switch in a tee without bellows, with the magnet outside the flowing water. It is particularly suited to liquids and gases in industrial automation, machinery, air compression and refrigeration, and according to the datasheet also to sewage because of the magnet position.
A spring-loaded paddle hangs into the tee; the flow deflects it and a microswitch above operates. Flow range in water 5.3 … 7.2 L/min at DN15 up to 16 … 22 L/min at DN25, with a second paddle in each size. The reset point is documented for each size. Accuracy and repeatability are not documented as figures. Output microswitch, SPDT, one or two switch points, normally open by default, 5 A, up to 250 V AC without status indicator; with the optional status indicator the supply is 24 V DC ± 10 %. Setting by a knob, connection DIN 43650A connector or 0.8 m cable.
Wetted body in nickel-plated brass, paddle stainless steel, seal NBR. Process connection tee with G1/2 to G2, female or male ends. Pressure rating 25 bar, higher on request, pressure loss 0.01 bar at maximum flow, operating temperature -10 … +80 °C, protection IP65. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: Flow figures are given for DN15 to DN25 only and are missing for DN32 to DN50. DN40 and DN50 are marked stainless only and cannot be ordered. The status indicator and 250 V AC are mutually exclusive, and the indicator has no order field.
