Description
The QSKO is a mechanical in-line paddle flow switch with a through-bore body for sizes DN15 to DN50. It is particularly suited to liquids and gases in industrial automation, machinery, air compression, refrigeration and air conditioning in pipes up to 50 mm.
A spring-loaded paddle sits in the through bore; the flow deflects it and a linkage operates a microswitch. Setting range fixed by the model, twelve models from six bores with two paddles A and B each, from 1.5 … 10 L/min to 50 … 150 L/min, fine setting by a knob. Repeatability ± 2.5 of the total range, without a per cent sign in the datasheet; an accuracy is not documented; hysteresis 2 … 8 L/min by model, measured with water at 20 °C. Output microswitch, normally open and normally closed, switching capacity 250 V AC, 3 A. Connection via screw terminals.
Body stainless steel, process connection, connecting rod and paddle brass, seal NBR, outer housing ABS. Process connection female thread R1/2, R3/4, R1, R1¼, R1½ or R2 at both ends. Pressure rating 16 bar, medium temperature 90 °C, ambient -25 … +85 °C, protection IP33. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: The IP67 case shown in the photograph has no order field. Three of the four wetted parts are brass, which with the stainless body forms a galvanic cell in conductive water.
