Description
The QSKK is a mechanical piston flow switch for small flows in one size with G1/4 and 65 mm overall length. It is particularly suited to centralised lubrication and to liquids in industrial automation and machinery.
A magnetic piston on a spring is displaced by the flow, and the magnet closes a reed contact outside the wetted part. Setting range 0.03 … 1.2 L/min, scale on the body calibrated in lubricating oil 46 at 20 °C with horizontal mounting. Accuracy ± 5 % of the total range; a hysteresis is not documented as a figure. Output dry reed contact, normally open, one or two switch points, switching capacity 24 V DC / 250 V AC, 100 mA. Supply 24 V DC ± 20 % or 230 V AC ± 15 % by order code, status LED on DC only. Connection M12 or cable.
Housing in nickel-plated brass, anodised aluminium or 304 stainless steel, piston brass, spring stainless steel. Process connection G1/4 female. Pressure rating 50 bar (brass, aluminium) or 100 bar (stainless steel), medium temperature ≤ 100 °C, protection IP65. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: The scale is calibrated in lubricating oil; for other media or temperatures the switching point has to be checked against a known flow. Data block and order code name the housing materials differently (copper or nickel-plated brass). An ambient temperature is not documented.
