Description
The QSKE is a thermal flow switch with a three-digit LED display and keys on the device. According to the datasheet it is intended for water, oil and air.
Thermal measuring principle; the signal is conditioned and put out as a switching signal. A measuring range is not documented in the datasheet, nor are accuracy, repeatability or hysteresis. One switch output on pin 4, PNP or NPN, normally open or normally closed, all settable at the keys, PNP as factory setting. Switching load < 200 mA. Supply 12 … 30 V DC, no-load current ≤ 30 mA, response time 1 … 13 s. Display three digits, red LED, reading in per cent, setting by two keys − and +. Connection M12 × 1, four pins.
Probe and process connection in 304 stainless steel, housing in engineering plastic moulded in one piece, turnable through 330°. Process connection G1/2, G1/4, R1/2 or R1/4 male, M18 × 1.5 female or clamp 25.4 mm or 50.5 mm to ISO 2852:1993, probe lengths 30, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 100 mm. Medium temperature -20 … +85 °C, ambient -20 … +80 °C, protection IP67. IP67 and a CE mark are printed on the device shown; a declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: No measuring range is documented, and without it the device cannot be sized. No pressure rating is given. The datasheet does not say what the percentage display refers to.
