Description
The QMKD is a compact electromagnetic flowmeter with a PEEK measuring tube. It is particularly suited to small quantities of conductive liquids above 20 µS/cm and to hygienic lines with clamp, thread or flange clamp connection.
Faraday's law of induction. Flow 0.1 L/min … 45 m³/h by size, from 0.1 … 10 L/min at DN4 up to 7 … 45 m³/h at DN50. Accuracy ≤ ± 0.5 % of range, reproducibility ≤ ± 0.2 % of range, response time < 100 ms. Outputs pulse NPN, 4 … 20 mA (load < 250 Ω) and RS485. Supply 24 V DC ± 10 %, ≤ 80 mA, reverse-polarity and short-circuit protected, connection M12 × 1, 8-pin or 5-pin.
Measuring tube PEEK, electrode Hastelloy C, connection and shell stainless steel 304, sealing EPDM. Connection types clamp, G internal thread, G external thread or flange clamp. Pressure resistance 16 bar, medium temperature -40 … +120 °C, +140 °C optional, ambient -25 … +85 °C. A protection grade is not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the data sheet. Before sizing, note: No protection grade is given in the sheet; it has to be requested. Accuracy and reproducibility refer to the range; at a tenth of the range, 0.5 % of range is 5 % of reading. The parameter table gives DN4 … DN25, the tables and the order code DN4 … DN50; the flange clamp exists only up to DN25.
