Description
The QMKC is an electromagnetic flowmeter with a low-conductivity version from 5 µS/cm. It is particularly suited to demineralised water, condensate and weak process liquids as well as to acids, alkalis, salt solutions and pulp.
Faraday's law of induction, straight empty measuring tube. Flow velocity 0.1 … 15 m/s, settable, turndown 150:1. Accuracy ± 0.5 % of reading, optionally ± 0.3 % and ± 0.2 %, class 0.5 from 0.6 to 6 m/s. Conductivity ≥ 25 µS/cm conventional, ≥ 5 µS/cm in the low-conductivity version. Outputs 4 … 20 mA, pulse or frequency, alarm output and RS485. Supply 220 V AC or 24 V DC, ≤ 15 VA.
Electrodes 316L, platinum-iridium, Hastelloy, tantalum, titanium or tungsten carbide, lining FEP or polyurethane, shell carbon steel, stainless steel to order. Nominal pressure 4.0 MPa up to DN50 down to 0.6 MPa from DN1200, flanges to GB/T 20592-2009. Medium temperature -40 … +180 °C depending on the lining, ambient -25 … +60 °C, protection grade IP65 compact, IP65 or IP68 remote. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the data sheet. Before sizing, note: Parameter table and order code give different nominal size ranges; the sizes that can be delivered have to be settled with the enquiry. No temperature limit per lining is given; the order code knows only ≤ 70 °C and ≤ 120 °C. The pressure codes of the order code overlap.
