Description
The QGKN is a thermal flow sensor for gas with a colour display that turns by 180°, protection grade IP65 and M8 × 1 plug connection. It is particularly suited to dry air and nitrogen at flows from 5 to 6000 L/min where protection grade IP65 is required.
Thermal mass flow measurement, the gas stream carries heat away from the heated sensor, one flow direction. Five sizes 5 … 500, 10 … 1000, 20 … 2000, 30 … 3000 and 60 … 6000 L/min. Display accuracy ± 3 % F.S. ± 1 digit, analogue accuracy ± 5 % F.S., repeatability ± 1 % F.S. ± 1 digit. Response time ≤ 100 ms on the analogue output. Outputs by version: two switch outputs, PNP, NPN on request, short-circuit protected, cumulative pulse, 4 … 20 mA or 1 … 5 V, alternatively RS485. Supply 12 … 24 V DC ± 10 %, ≤ 50 mA. Connection M8 × 1, four-pin.
Plastic housing, process connection Rc1/2, G1/2, G3/4, G1 or G1-1/2 by size. Working pressure 0 … 1.0 MPa, pressure resistance 1.5 MPa. Medium and ambient temperature 0 … +50 °C without dew or freezing. Protection grade IP65. The EMC standards IEC 61000-6-2 and IEC 61000-6-4 are named; a declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: IO-Link appears only in the order code and the wiring tables, no IO-Link version and no IODD file are documented. The parameter table gives 12 … 24 V DC, the wiring diagram 18 … 28 V DC. The order code distinguishes only G and Rc threads, the thread size has to be stated with the order.
