Description
The QGKM is an air velocity transmitter with probe; it measures a flow velocity in m/s, not a flow. It is particularly suited to measuring air velocity, for example in ducts; a volume flow additionally needs the duct cross-section and a profile factor, which the datasheet does not give.
Per datasheet heat dissipation or pitot tube, both principles are named in one sentence. Velocity range 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 m/s. Accuracy ± 0.2 m/s + 3 % of reading, resolution 0.05 m/s, digital linearisation and temperature compensation. Output 0 … 10 V or 4 … 20 mA, 0 … 5 V and RS485 as a special. Supply 13 … 24 V AC or DC, 50 Hz. Connection via three screw terminals for 1.5 mm². Probe length 220 mm standard.
Housing material not stated, described only as high-temperature and corrosion resistant. Probe length 220 mm, below 1500 mm to order, up to 5000 mm as a special length. Ambient temperature -5 … +70 °C, humidity 0 … 90 % RH without condensation. Protection grade, dimensions, mounting, display and wiring diagram are not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: which measuring principle the device uses, heat dissipation or pitot tube, is not stated. The order code contains only the range, no field for output, probe length or connection. The supply is given as alternating and direct voltage in one entry.
