Description
The QGKK is a thermal flow sensor for gas with a four-digit LED display that turns by 180° and a PNP or NPN switch output. It is particularly suited to dry air and nitrogen at flows from 5 to 2000 L/min, also under vacuum down to -0.09 MPa.
Thermal mass flow measurement, the gas stream carries heat away from the heated sensor, one flow direction. Seven sizes 5, 10, 50, 100, 200, 1000 and 2000 L/min. Display and analogue accuracy ± 3 % F.S. ± 1 digit, repeatability ± 3 % F.S. ± 1 digit. Response time ≤ 100 ms on the analogue output, 800 ms on the switch, selectable 50 … 1500 ms. Outputs: switch output PNP or NPN, short-circuit protected, with hysteresis, window and pulse modes up to 150 Hz, plus 1 … 5 V or 4 … 20 mA, alternatively RS485. Supply 12 … 24 V DC ± 10 %, ≤ 50 mA without load. Connection via four-pin plug, cable Ø 4 mm.

Medium and ambient temperature 0 … +50 °C, humidity 35 … 85 % RH without dew. Protection grade IP40. Materials of body, valve and bracket are not stated. The EMC standards IEC 61000-6-2 and IEC 61000-6-4 are named; a declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: the parameter table gives 12 … 24 V DC, all three wiring diagrams 12 … 30 V DC. A footnote on RS485 is missing from the datasheet, its content is unknown.
