Description
The QGKB is a precession vortex flowmeter for gas with pressure and temperature measurement in the same housing. It is particularly suited to measuring working and standard volume flow of gas with automatic correction of temperature, pressure and compression factor.
Precession vortex principle, the gas is set spinning and the precession frequency of the swirl centre is counted. Flow range 0.3 … 3600 m³/h depending on nominal size. System accuracy after correction class 1.0 or 1.5. Outputs 4 … 20 mA and pulse, isolated, limit alarms and RS485 up to 1.2 km. Supply 24 V DC ± 15 % or 3.6 V lithium cell. Dot matrix display for volume flow, totals, pressure and temperature. Nominal sizes DN15 … DN200, inlet run 10 × DN, outlet run 5 × DN.
Body of stainless steel or aluminium alloy, process connection flange, nominal pressure 1.6, 2.5 or 4.0 MPa. Medium temperature -20 … +80 °C, ambient temperature -30 … +65 °C. Protection grade IP65, cable entry M20 × 1.5. Explosion protection per datasheet Ex d IIB T4 and Ex ia IIC T4 without assignment to a version, a certificate is not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: according to the order code the battery version has neither display nor output, all display and output data apply to the mains version only. Which version carries Ex d and which Ex ia is not stated. For versions A and B the table gives only one range per size.
