Description

The QGKA is a turbine flowmeter for gas with flange connection. It is particularly suited to measuring gas volume flow in pipes DN25 to DN300 where flow, total, temperature and pressure are to be read on the device.

Turbine principle, the gas drives a bladed rotor and the electronics count its revolutions. Flow range 2.5 … 6500 m³/h depending on nominal size, lower limit at a flow velocity of 0.5 m/s. Accuracy class 1.5. Output 4 … 20 mA, pulse and RS485, an RS485 protocol is not documented. The supply voltage is not documented. LCD display with keys on the head. Process connection flange, DN25 … DN300.

Body of aluminium alloy or stainless steel, nominal pressure 1.6 MPa in both size tables. Medium temperature -20 … +80 °C, ambient temperature -20 … +50 °C. The protection grade is not documented. Explosion protection per datasheet Ex ib IIB T4; certificate, notified body and ATEX or IECEx number are not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: the order code offers eight pressure ratings from 1.6 to 42 MPa, the size tables give only 1.6 MPa for every size. DN32, DN40, DN65 and DN125 exist in stainless steel only, DN200, DN250 and DN300 in aluminium only. Supply voltage, wiring diagram and pin assignment are missing.
