Description
The QFKB is an impeller flowmeter with a display head and colour display for nominal sizes from DN10 to DN32. It is particularly suited to applications where flow and temperature are to be read at the device and transmitted via IO-Link or RS485.
Impeller principle, flow velocity 0.15 … 6 m/s, flow rate 3 … 250 L/min by size, linear accuracy ± 1.0 % F.S., repeatability ± 5 % F.S., temperature 0 … 100 °C with ± 1.5 °C. Outputs: switch PNP or NPN for flow and temperature, analog 4 … 20 mA, 1 … 5 V or 0 … 10 V, pulse, IO-Link and RS485. Supply 12 … 30 V DC, connection M12 × 1, 5-pin. The colour display shows instantaneous flow, percentage of range and totalized flow and can be turned by 180°.
Head of stainless steel with plastic display window, body of POM, aluminium or stainless steel, O-ring FPM or EPDM, impeller of PP, bearing and shaft of ZrO2 ceramic, titanium alloy or Hastelloy C. Pressure POM 14 bar at 25 °C and 1.7 bar at 100 °C, aluminium 25 bar. Process connection G or Rc thread, internal or external, 1/2" … 1-1/4". Medium temperature 0 … 100 °C, protection IP67. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: the technical data give DC 5 … 24 V, the wiring diagram 12 … 30 V DC. No pressure is documented for the stainless steel body. IO-Link lacks version and IODD, RS485 lacks protocol, baud rate and register map.
