Description
The QEKI is a flow and temperature sensor without moving parts with totalizer. It is particularly suited to cooling and circulating water, organic and inorganic solutions as well as oxygen, nitrogen, ammonia and natural gas in lines with thread connection G3/8 … G2.
The measuring principle is not documented; according to the sheet the reading is not affected by the static pressure. Flow 2 … 400 L/min depending on size with < ± 3.0 % F.S., repeatability < 2.0 %, 5-point linearization. Temperature 0 … 100 °C with ≤ 2.0 °C. Outputs 2 × 4 … 20 mA (three-wire, load up to 500 Ω), two alarm switches PNP or NPN (24 V DC / 400 mA), pulse up to 1 kHz, RS485. Supply 18 … 30 V DC, connection M12 × 1.
Wetted parts POM and stainless steel 304. Process connection G3/8 … G2 internal thread, G or R. Pressure level 10 bar, maximum 16 bar, medium temperature -20 … +100 °C, ambient -10 … +65 °C. Mounting by four M4 threads, 10 mm deep, in the underside. A protection grade is not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the data sheet. Before sizing, note: No protection grade is given in the sheet; it has to be requested. The supply is given three times and differently: 18 … 30 V DC, 24 V DC and 18 … 28 V DC. The versions with display are wired through eight cores; no matching 8-pin socket is offered in the sheet.
