PRAD Absolute Pressure Transmitter TP3

The PRAD outputs a processed standard signal: 4–20 mA in two or three-wire technology, optionally 0–5 V or 0–10 V. Designed for systems and test benches that process the signal without an additional measuring amplifier. The measuring body is a single piece of 17-4 PH stainless steel, fully laser-welded and resin-encapsulated. The zero point can be adjusted internally under the nut.

Nominal pressure via selection: relative 100, 250, and 500 mbar, as well as 1, 2.5, 5, 10, and 20 bar (zero point at atmospheric pressure), absolute 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 350, 500, 700, 1000, 1500, and 2000 bar (zero point in absolute vacuum). The price depends on the measuring range and sensitivity.

  • Temperature influence: Zero point ≤ ±0.02%/°C, characteristic value ≤ ±0.02%/°C · Zero point ±10%, adjustable internally under the nut.

  • Response frequency: 0.5 to 5 kHz.

  • Power supply: 12–24 Vdc at 4–20 mA and 0–5 V, 15–24 Vdc at 0–10 V, maximum 28 Vdc · Consumption 30 mA (three-wire) or 20 mA (two-wire).

  • Connection: DIN 43650-A plug according to ISO 4400 · optionally M12×1 plug, 4-pin, with molded shielded PVC cable.

  • Temperature: -10 … +70 °C · Protection class IP65 according to EN 60529.

  • Process connection: G 1/4″ male thread, from 1000 bar G 1/2″ · also BSP male thread. Tightening SW 27 with 28 N·m.

  • Dimensions: Ø 25 mm, length 109 mm with DIN plug, 83 mm with M12.

  • Pressure limits: continuous 100%, permissible 150%, burst > 300%, highly dynamic 75% of nominal pressure.

Pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration and level control systems, test benches and material testing machines. CE, RoHS and REACH; EN 61326-1 and EN 61010-1; Quality system according to EN ISO 9001. For versions from 20 bar, a declaration of conformity for food contact according to (EC) 1935/2004 and (EC) 2023/2006 (GMP) is available, material 17-4 PH (WN 1.4542).
