PRAC Absolute Pressure Transmitter TP16

The PRAC provides a passive bridge signal of 1 or 2 mV/V – not a conditioned standard signal. Intended for measurement chains where a measuring amplifier is already present. The measuring element is a piece of 17-4 PH stainless steel, fully laser-welded and resin-potted. With a combined error of ≤ ±0.10%, it is the most accurate passive transducer in the series.

Nominal pressure via selection: relative 5, 10, and 20 bar (zero point at atmospheric pressure), absolute 50, 100, 250, 350, 500, 700, 1000, 1500, and 2000 bar (zero point in absolute vacuum). The price depends on the measuring range and sensitivity.

• Output: 1 mV/V (combined error ≤ ±0.15%) or 2 mV/V (≤ ±0.10%), tolerance ≤ ±0.1%.

• Temperature influence: zero point ≤ ±0.015%/°C, characteristic value ≤ ±0.015%/°C.

• Response frequency: 20 to 100 kHz – also for dynamic measurements.

• Supply: 1–15 V, maximum 18 V · input resistance 1080 Ω ±20, output resistance 1000 Ω ±5.

• Connection: MIL4M connector with 5 m cable · optionally M12×1 connector or molded cable.

• Temperature: -10 … +110 °C · protection class IP67 according to EN 60529.

• Process connection: G 1/4″ male thread, from 1000 bar G 1/2″ · also BSP male thread. Seal USIT A 63-11, tightening SW 27 with 28 N·m.

• Dimensions: Ø 25 mm, length 70 mm, thread 15 mm · seat diameter ØF 6 mm up to 10 bar, 7 mm from 20 bar.

• Pressure limits: permanent 100%, permissible 150%, bursting > 300%, highly dynamic 75% of nominal pressure.
