Description
The EDOA is a load cell indicator with an alphanumeric LED display for panel mounting.
It is intended for laboratory instrumentation, factory automation, and industrial process monitoring.
The display shows 5 characters plus sign with a digit height of 11.4 mm, which corresponds to a measurement resolution of up to 4.5 digits; in addition, there are 3 status LEDs for alarm, max, and min. Operation is via four capacitive touch sensors on the front panel. The display is updated 2.5 times per second, and the brightness can be adjusted from 20% to 100% in 10% increments.
Available measurement inputs are 0–10 V and 4–20 mA, complemented by a load cell input for 1–2 mV/V; the common-mode input range is ±48 V. The accuracy is typically 0.05% of full scale and a maximum of 0.2% of full scale. Via the menu, the ranges 0–5 V, 0–20 mA, and a freely scalable display can be selected. An integrated isolated solid-state relay with programmable switching points, hysteresis, and relay test switches up to ±250 mA at ±40 V. The polycarbonate housing is mounted via a round hole cutout with a nut and seal or via screws. Power is supplied by 9 to 32 V DC at 40 mA (12 V) or 25 mA (24 V). The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to +50 °C, and the weight is 65 g.
