Compression Load Cells & Pressure Transducers

Compression load cells measure force exclusively in compression. They are placed under the load and do not require a tension connection – the most common solution for tank and silo weighing, weighbridges, presses and pressing processes.

Available options include button load cells and compression force transducers for low installation heights, column load cells for high loads in weighbridges and vehicle scales, force measuring rings and ring load cells for passing bolts and shafts through, and machine foot load cells, which convert an existing leveling foot into a weighing point.

The cells operate with strain gauges and provide an mV/V signal, which can be converted to 4…20 mA, 0…10 V or IO-Link using weighing transmitters and measuring amplifiers. For harsh environments, there are versions with ATEX approval and protection class up to IP69k. Datasheets and 3D data are available for each article, calibration according to ISO 17025 upon request.
