Description
FRKA Radar Level Sensor: Precise Measurement for Liquids and Solids
The octogon Sensors' FRKA is a sophisticated level sensor based on the radar principle. It uses internal electrodes that interact with the metal tank to generate capacitance values. As the volume of the medium changes, so does this capacitance value, allowing the exact fill level to be calculated and output as an industrial standard signal. The sensor is ideally suited for measuring liquid and solid media.
Compact Design and Smart Operation
The device is housed in a robust all-metal casing. A color LCD display and user-friendly menu navigation via integrated buttons make on-site configuration particularly easy. For optimal readability, the display head can be rotated flexibly by 330°.
Reliability in Demanding Environments
Thanks to its strong anti-fouling properties, the FRKA delivers reliable results even with highly viscous media. The housing and probe are made of durable 304 stainless steel, with the probe additionally coated with a protective PTFE (Teflon) layer.
