Description
The QHKB is a glass tube variable area flowmeter whose flow is read directly off the scale. It is particularly suited to water, juice, milk, pure water and other clean liquids as well as gases where a local reading is sufficient.
Variable area principle, the float rides in a conical glass tube against a scale. Measuring range liquid 2.5 L/h … 25 m³/h in seventeen steps, gas 40 L/h … 480 m³/h in fifteen steps. Accuracy, turndown and repeatability are not documented in the datasheet. The device is purely mechanical: no supply, no output, no switching contact. Process connection clamp, thread or flange, G1/4, G3/4, G1 or G1-1/2 by size.
Body of stainless steel 304 or 316, nominal sizes DN10, DN20, DN25 and DN40, weight 0.25 kg to 5.0 kg by size. Vertical mounting with flow from bottom to top. Working pressure, medium temperature, protection grade, float and seal materials and the type of glass are not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: working pressure and medium temperature are missing and must be clarified with the enquiry. For milk and juice, seal material and cleaning (CIP/SIP) are not documented.
