Description
The QHKA is a metal tube variable area flowmeter for liquids and gases. It is particularly suited to water, air and oil at low to high medium temperatures and, in its simplest version, works without any auxiliary power.
Variable area principle, the float in a conical metal tube transmits its height magnetically to the pointer. Measuring range water 1 … 200 000 L/h, air 0.03 … 4000 m³/h (at 20 °C and 0.1013 MPa), turndown 10:1, accuracy 1.5 % F.S. Output 4 … 20 mA or 0 … 10 mA, alarm contact as normally open contact or relay. Supply 24 V DC two-wire (10.8 … 36 V DC), 85 … 265 V AC or NiMH battery 3.6 V / 4 Ah. Indicator M1 mechanical pointer without power, M2 pointer with LCD for instantaneous and totalized flow, M3 LCD only.
Measuring system of 316Ti, 321, 316L, PTFE or titanium alloy. Process connection flange to GB/T 9119-2000 or sanitary clamp; nominal pressure DN15 … DN50 4.0 MPa, DN80 … DN150 1.6 MPa, clamp 1.6 MPa. Medium temperature -80 … +200 °C, 0 … +85 °C with PTFE, up to +400 °C in the high-temperature version; ambient -30 … +85 °C; protection IP65. Explosion protection per the sheet Ex ia IIC T6 and Ex d IIC T6, without certificate number and notified body. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: each pressure value is followed by a second figure in brackets (25 MPa, 16 MPa) without explanation. A dimensioned drawing is missing; the only dimension is the overall height of 250 mm.
