Description
The QEKJ is a vortex flow sensor without moving parts with optional temperature measurement. It is particularly suited to cooling and circulating water, organic and inorganic solutions as well as oxygen, nitrogen, ammonia and natural gas in lines with thread connection G3/8 … G2.
Vortex shedding behind a bluff body; according to the sheet the reading is not affected by the static pressure. Flow 0.5 … 400 L/min in seven sizes with < ± 3.0 % F.S., repeatability < 2.0 %, 5-point linearization. Temperature (option) 0 … 100 °C with ≤ 2.0 °C. Outputs 4 … 20 mA or 1 … 5 V up to two channels, switching output PNP or NPN (24 V DC / 200 mA), pulse up to 1 kHz, IO-Link and RS485. Supply 18 … 30 V DC, connection M8 × 1, 4-pin, or cable 2, 5 or 10 m.
Wetted parts PPS below 100 L/min, PA66 above 100 L/min and stainless steel 304. Process connection G3/8 … G2 internal thread, G, R or NPT. Pressure level 10 bar, maximum 16 bar, medium temperature -20 … +90 °C, ambient -10 … +65 °C. A protection grade is not documented. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the data sheet. Before sizing, note: No protection grade is given in the sheet; it has to be requested. IO-Link is documented without version and without IODD file, RS485 without protocol, baud rate or register map. The temperature range 0 … 100 °C does not match the medium temperature -20 … +90 °C.
