Description
The QEKG is a thermal flow and temperature sensor with four-digit LED display and IO-Link. It is particularly suited to water, ethylene glycol solution, air and oil in pipes up to 400 mm diameter.
Two measuring elements and a heating source on the probe. Flow velocity liquid ≤ 3 m/s, gas ≤ 100 m/s, temperature -20 … +80 °C. Accuracy and repeatability are not documented. Two switching outputs PNP or NPN (S1 flow, S2 temperature, max. 400 mA), analogue output 0/4 … 20 mA, 0/1 … 5 V or 0/1 … 10 V, pulse output 0 … 1000 Hz, IO-Link. Supply 24 V DC ± 20 %, connection M12 × 1, 5-pin, or cable.
Body and wetted parts stainless steel 304, display head ABS. Process connection G1/4 or G1/2 external thread and M18 × 1.5 internal thread. Pressure range 100 bar, medium and ambient temperature -20 … +80 °C, protection grade IP67, weight about 0.4 kg. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the data sheet. Before sizing, note: The flow range is given only as an upper limit per medium; accuracy and repeatability have to be requested. The M18 × 1.5 internal thread requires a mounting accessory. The technical data give 24 V DC ± 20 %, the wiring diagrams 12 … 30 V DC.
