Description
The QFKA is an impeller flow sensor with temperature measurement for nominal sizes from DN10 to DN32. It is particularly suited to monitoring tasks where up to four switch points plus flow and temperature as 4 … 20 mA are required.
Impeller principle, flow velocity 0.15 … 6 m/s, flow rate 3 … 250 L/min by size, linear accuracy ± 1.0 % F.S., repeatability ± 5 % F.S., temperature range 0 … 100 °C with ± 1.5 °C. Outputs: two or four switch points PNP or NPN with freely settable upper and lower alarm value, 2 × 4 … 20 mA for flow and temperature, pulse output for flow. Supply 16 … 30 V DC, connection M12 × 1, 8-pin with analog output, otherwise 5-pin. LCD with three keys.
Sensor body of POM, aluminium or stainless steel, O-ring FPM or EPDM, impeller of PP, bearing and shaft of ZrO2 ceramic, titanium alloy or Hastelloy C. Pressure for the POM body 14 bar at 25 °C and 1.7 bar at 100 °C. Process connection G or Rc thread, internal or external, 1/2" … 1-1/4". Medium temperature 0 … 100 °C, protection IP67. A declaration of conformity is not documented in the datasheet. Before sizing, note: the technical data give DC 5 … 24 V, all wiring diagrams 16 … 30 V DC. No pressure is documented for the aluminium and stainless steel bodies. At ± 5 % FS the repeatability is five times the linearity error; the value has to be settled with the enquiry.
