Load pins (also called force measuring pins) are the most elegant and efficient solution for measuring forces directly in the load path without altering the basic mechanical design of a system. They replace conventional axles, clevis pins, or pin connections, transforming passive machine elements into intelligent, highly accurate sensors.

Seamless Integration Without Design Changes
The biggest advantage of our load pins lies in their design. The customer provides the dimensions of the existing pin (length, diameter, position of the retaining device), and we manufacture the measuring pin as an exact geometric replica. The function of the existing bearing or roller remains fully intact, while simultaneously obtaining accurate load data.
Signals, Interfaces, and Measuring Electronics
Depending on the system architecture and degree of automation, we offer the full spectrum of signal outputs. From passive sensors for external control cabinets to fully integrated digital solutions.
If space is severely limited in the joint, we use remote electronics. If the pin offers sufficient space, we integrate the signal amplification directly into the housing of the load pin, which minimizes interference and simplifies wiring.

Protection Classes up to IP68 / IP69K: For standard industrial applications, IP65 or IP67 is often sufficient. For use underwater (offshore) or with high-pressure cleaning (food technology/construction machinery), we offer hermetically sealed housings.

Electrical Connection: Optionally as a fixed cable (axially or radially routed, depending on the installation situation) or via robust, industrial-grade connectors (e.g., M12).

Lubrication Holes: For movable joints, the pins can be equipped with internal lubrication channels and grease nipples to lubricate the bearing points directly through the pin.
