FKKA Capacitive Level Switch: Precise Detection through Frequency Sweep Technology

The FKKA capacitive level switch from Octogon Sensors is your reliable solution for precise level detection in various media. It operates with intelligent frequency sweep technology to reliably detect fill levels and object positions.

Thanks to its versatility and robust design, this sensor is ideal for demanding applications in the healthcare industry as well as in general industrial environments.

Highest Precision and Fast Response

  • Exact Measurement Results: The FKKA offers excellent repeatability of ±1 mm with a minimal hysteresis (lag) of 1 mm.

  • Fast Signal Processing: With a typical response time of extremely fast 0.1 seconds (and a maximum of 0.2 seconds), the sensor reacts immediately to level changes.

  • Adjustable Damping: To avoid false switching due to agitated media surfaces, the damping time can be flexibly set between 0 and 10 seconds.

High-Quality Materials and Hygienic Design

  • Resistant: The liquid receiving parts are made of high-quality PEEK Natura and stainless steel 316L (1.4404).

  • For Sensitive Areas: With a surface roughness of the media-contacting parts of Ra ≤ 0.8 µm, the sensor meets high hygienic requirements.

  • Versatile Connections: The switch supports various process connections, features ED seals, and can be mounted with accessories such as a sanitary chuck or a welding base.

Maximum Flexibility for Your System

  • Various Designs: To perfectly integrate into your design, the sensor is available in a standard version, an extended variant, and as a heat dissipation type.

  • Individual Probe Lengths: The probe length can be selected from standard dimensions (30 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 100 mm, 250 mm) or custom-made.

  • Secure Electronics: The sealed metal housing ensures excellent EMC protection (radiation and immunity) according to EN 61326.
